Ian Hutchings Senior Practice Adviser

Ian lives in Kempston, and has three children (one boy and two girls) and a grandson.

He has worked in the financial services industry since 1998, and joined McGirl's Money Management in 2005. His skills include all aspects of financial planning, including investments and pensions as well as identifying and subsequently satisfying customer needs. Ian really listens to clients, and can therefore specifically tailor suitable financial packages.

Ian loves playing and watching different sports, especially golf and rugby.

Martin Bates Mortgage Adviser

Martin has been in financial services since 1999, and joined McGirl's Money Management in January 2001. Martin holds full mortgage advice qualifications, and the Financial Planning Certificate. He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of mortgage advice, finance and associated protection markets.

Martin's interests include football, golf and most other sports. He enjoys films and music, and socialising with friends.

Jonathan Miller Mortgage Adviser

Jonathan has worked in the financial services industry for 15 years, both in London and locally. Since joining the practice in 2000, he has established a varied client bank, mainly in Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire. Specialising in mortgage brokering, Jonathan is experienced in providing solutions on all sorts of residential lending, from straightforward remortgages to the most complicated propositions.

Jonathan lives in North Bedfordshire, with his hobbies being sports cars, football and music.

Ken Moore Mortgage Adviser

Ken has worked in the financial services industry since 1976, so has a wealth of experience dealing with all aspects of financial advice, from savings to pensions and protection.

He joined McGirl's Money Management in 1999, and specialises in arranging mortgages and associated products. Ken loves meeting people and helping them to buy the home that they want — he says it's very rewarding!

Ken is married to Gail, and has two grown-up sons. His hobbies include most sports, but particularly football. Having said that, he supports West Ham, so he knows the meaning of suffering!He loves travelling, and owns a villa in Florida, which is a great place to visit.

Mark Scott Mortgage Adviser

Mark has worked in the Financial Services industry since 1993. He joined McGirl's Money Management in March 2004, having previously worked for Mortgage Choice for five years. Mark is a fully qualified Mortgage Adviser.

Mark's hobbies include golf, football and socialising.

Dave Sims Mortgage Adviser

Dave joined McGirls Money Management in 2001, and is a fully-qualified Mortgage Adviser.

Dave is a true Londoner (though he has lived in Bedford since 1991) and has four children. He is a lifelong supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers and has been involved with youth football in Bedfordshire since 1995.

Mark Wharton Mortgage Adviser

Mark lives in Brickhill and was born and raised in Bedfordshire, being eductated at Sharnbrook Upper School. He then went on to complete a politics degree at University College Northampton (UCN).

Mark has worked in the Financial Services industry since 2002, and now specialises in residential mortgages and remortgages. He joined McGirl's Money Management in 2004, and he holds full mortgage advice qualifications. Mark enjoys listening to clients and helping to identify their needs, and subsequently finding them a mortgage that is tailored for them.

Mark's interests include watching and playing most sports, especially football and golf. He also enjoys music and socialising with friends.

David Higgins Mortgage Advisor

David joined the practice in early 2006, and is a fully qualified Mortgage Adviser. He has a wealth of experience in commerce and industry, and now enjoys being able to help his clients find the right solution, whether they are looking to buy a home or looking to remortgage.

David sings in a local band, and enjoys playing golf, as well as watching rugby (Bedford Blues!), football, and most other sports.
